Major Function:

Serve as the initial contact between the client and the bank for account needs and cross selling bank products and services. To provide outstanding client service and ensure efficient assessment and handling of all client inquiries through the utilization of the various programs and other applicable system(s). May serve in other operational roles.

Essential Duties:

  • Handle and resolve client concerns to ensure the highest possible client satisfaction.
  • Promote all bank products and services by identifying and communicating opportunities to clients.

  • Assist clients in the selection and opening of accounts to meet their banking needs; including checking, savings, debit cards, certificates of deposit (CDs), IRAs, safe deposit boxes, etc.

  • Strive to maintain a high level of expertise of product and digital banking services to offer the best solutions to meet client needs.

  • Properly follow current company policies and procedures along with all laws and banking regulations to ensure compliance for new and existing accounts.

  • Maintain and verify the accuracy of file maintenance, data entry, image file integrity, and on-line daily transactions.

  • Completes daily work within established time frames and properly follows current procedures.

  • Processes updates to client information and account/system changes on core system to ensure that each client service inquiry receives outstanding service by providing accurate information, building rapport, and processing all transactions as efficiently as possible.

  • Participate in the Saturday rotation.

  • Assist other employees/departments/branches to promote teamwork and good communication.

  • Promote a positive bank image in the community.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience:

  • Previous banking experience a plus.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Basic computer literacy with knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

  • Comfortable with navigating the internet and most digital banking services.

  • Demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail in previous work history.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Work under pressure and perform several tasks simultaneously.

  • Ability to work independently.

  • Basic mathematical skills.

  • Excellent client service skills.

  • Excellent organization skills.
